An eagle egg is protected by a fine, and some jail time. Pulling a sapling out of the ground is considered killing a tree. Pulling a man apart limb from limb is considered unspeakably horrific. Those who know me, know how passionately I side with the pro-lifers, now more than ever before it is important to speak for those who can’t speak for themselves.
Why are things like trees and eggs more protected than a human being? Why is an eagle egg seen as an eagle baby, but a human in the womb, considered nothing more than a clump of cells? Simple, if you think about the facts of abortion- killing your own living child- you’ll be consumed with a guilt that you just murdered someone. I’m sorry if I’m not being nice or easy on your emotions, but honesty trumps emotion in this situation: a human life is at stake, and I will not say sorry for standing up for it.
There’s a beautiful boy in the world today, his name is Ollie and he was born with a lump on his nose. They call him the real-life Pinocchio- you can easily look his story up on Google- and he’s the victim of alot of criticism. People will stop at nothing to be rude when it comes to the subject of abortion: his mother was brought to tears many times by the public’s distain for her son’s looks, but one struck hard. “You should have never given birth to him.”
How emptied of morals do you have to be to say something like that to the parent of the child? It’s not just rude, it’s absolutely disgusting. When will it end? Or will it simply go further? If people are making remarks such as these now, I am absolutely terrified to see what kind of twisted logic they’ll come up with later to elongate the abortion terms that have already been shattered.
The founder of planned parenthood, Margret Sanger said it this way, “The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” EVEN SHE KNEW THAT ABORTION WAS MURDER. And as disgusting as that thought process is, at least she was telling the truth about abortions being the same as killing someone. There’s people everywhere with the whole #standwithpp thing that don’t understand the definition of murder. Some even go out of their way to point out that “only 3% of p.p’s business is abortion,” which leaves me to question, if that’s true, than why the big shutdowns over abortion threats? Why would 3% have such a big impact on the wellbeing of a company? Unless, of course, that number is false information.
To those who talk about unfit parents and being too young to have a kid, I’ll give you one word: adoption. When you say you don’t want to wait that long, I’ll give you two words: embryo adoption. Although embryo adoption is a quick fix to abortion (ie, it doesn’t hold people responsible for their actions) it does provide the baby with a better choice than to simply abort them. Embryo adoption gives infertile people the chance to give birth to a baby of their own… to become the parents that you didn’t want to be. Simply put, it’s a life saver. To those who still want to take the “easy” way out, I will tell you this: there are so many different options for choosing life out there, that it is not only lazy, but selfish to choose death over life. It’s not your body if you’re not the one being killed. It’s no ones choice to mark a life as insignificant because of the timing. A person’s a person, no matter how small.
I have so many other things to say, but we’d be here all day, so I’ll leave you with this.
“It is great poverty to decide a child must die so you may live as you wish.”- Mother Teresa
Until next time,
